ABOUT
Born in Scotland, and originally a self-taught guitarist from the age of 19, David Martucci dedicated his time and his passion for classical guitar when he undertook further study with Maestro José Tomás, in Alicante, Spain.
David ...“eats breathes and lives music” ...which sees him spending 6 to 9 hours a day playing his custom made Graham Caldersmith guitar.
He has performed throughout the UK and Europe.
In Australia, he has recorded a soundtrack for a documentary on SBS and performed live on ABC radio.
David Martucci's greatest influences are guitarists David Russell, Simon Dinnigan, Eduardo Fernández, Julian Bream, Baden Powell de Aquino, Vladimír Mikulka, John Williams, to name a few.
